Barbecued Cube Steak Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 pounds cubed steak
  • 1/4 cup flour seasoned with Salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons fat
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
Directions
  1. Flour and season steak and brown in fat.
  2. Add chopped onion, brown lightly.
  3. Mix ingredients, pour over steak.
  4. Cover slightly.
  5. Cook slowly 35 minutes, or until steak is tender.
