Barbecued Cube Steak Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 pounds cubed steak
- 1/4 cup flour seasoned with Salt and pepper
- 3 tablespoons fat
- 1 medium onion
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
Directions
- Flour and season steak and brown in fat.
- Add chopped onion, brown lightly.
- Mix ingredients, pour over steak.
- Cover slightly.
- Cook slowly 35 minutes, or until steak is tender.
