Scottish Cheddar Vegetable Soup Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 carrots
- 3 celery sticks
- Half cup of flour
- Half cup of butter or margarine
- 1 pound of Extra Old Cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Finely chop up carrots and celery. Saute and butter.
- Add flour and mix until sticks to vegetables on medium heat. Add chicken broth. Let simmer till veggies are tender. Add milk. Cube up cheddar and add.
- Turn heat to low and stir until melted.
